About Largo Plant Services

Largo Plant Services has grown from humble beginnings into one of the UK’s trusted suppliers of filtration products. The company’s story began in 1985, when Alan Gooch, a founding member of Largo, helped establish the business operating from a simple cattle shed. What started as a small operation, and with the help of Alan's son Mark, Largo steadily evolved over the decades into a thriving company now operating across three warehouses and supplying filtration solutions to more than 2,000 customer accounts across the UK.

Despite this growth, Largo has always remained true to its roots as a family-run business. Today the company continues to be led by the Gooch family, with Alan Gooch alongside Mark Gooch, Linda Gooch and Joanne Chipperfield. Supporting them is a dedicated team of ten staff working across sales, warehousing and logistics, ensuring customers receive the service, expertise and reliability that Largo has built its reputation on.

Over the years, Largo has developed strong partnerships with some of the world’s most respected filtration manufacturers. These include Donaldson, Fleetguard, MANN-FILTER, SF Filter, and HIFI Filter. By working closely with these leading brands, Largo can confidently supply high-quality filtration products suitable for a wide range of industries and applications.

In 2026, Largo Plant Services was proudly recognised by Donaldson Filtration Ltd with the award for “Innovation Partner of the Year 2025.” The award reflects Largo’s dedication to delivering innovative filtration solutions and maintaining the highest standards for its customers.
